hey guys been having troubles it just started i drive along and the front end if i sit between 50-60ks the sterring will start shaking badly and wont stop until i get below 40 then if i rev quickly past the 50-60k spot it will b fine its only at those times i have a set of swivel hub repair kit coming and a new set of wheel bearing and also a new set of break disk im hoping this will help what u guys recon |

you have a coily? do the swivel hubs (properly!!!!!!!) and fit a steering damper kit then search Death wobbles, thats the official term and it seems there isnt a real set path to fixing it |

This is a pretty common problem. Yes, all these things will help, just make sure you get the king pin shims back in the same way they came out. And also check for play in all the steering joints. |

I know i get the shakes over speedhumps if my wheelbearings have come loose or are worn. I have to keep an eye on them Also could be wheel balance. I went from stockers with wobbles to 33's. I thought i was going to get mega wobbles. But smooooth as. Even with mud in the rims Leafy's get worn suspension bushes too, but with a coily check your control arms etc. |

panhard bushes are the biggest culprit in a coily for death wobbles. there is a lot of force in locating the diff laterally so if bushes wear out they get the shakes! |

all good guys i went and got my tyres rebalance and realised that 1 of the weights had fallen off thats what was causing the problem so all good now i also rotated the tires and all is good thanks alot |
