How hard is it going to be and what do I need to do it? Has anyone doneit? tips would be awesome! |

You'll need the ecu & engine side of the loom from the donor car as well as the motor. Assuming your car is a manual you'll also need an engine to gearbox/engine mount adapter kit. Trail tough do a good one. http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.ph ... r-kit.html You can use your gearbox and clutch. Obviously replace the clutch if it's worn. Reuse the fan/shroud/radiator out of the Jimny. A coil pack Baleno motor is your best bet, but being a transverse motor you'll need to adapt the radiator hoses. This can be done with a Swift thermostat cover. You'll need to either modify a throttle cable or get a Maruti Gypsy cable. They're all Bowden style cables so easy enough to adapt. Exhaust manifold should bolt up to the 1.6. |
