Hi I am wondering if a j20a out of a 2000 grand vitara will bolt into my vitara? it had a g16a motor 5spd manual and was a 1993. What will be different? Engine mounts, loom and ecu? Gearbox differences any help would be appreciated thanks.

J20a has a larger flywheel and a longer bell housing to suit, makes the gearbox is longer overall.
I think it also has a different mount at transfer case end and also uses a hydraulic clutch.

Google J20a Samurai engine conversion, I think somebody on pirate 4x4 has mated it to the
G16 gearbox with a modified G16 flywheel.
