Hi Folks, I'm currently in the process of converting my jimny to a G16. I have used the conversion kit from the Jimny store, but i have come up against a hitch. The offset engine mount bracket does not have a hole to bolt on the intake manifold bracket. Does anyone have any experience with this? i am 50% tempted to throw the manifold bracket away, and 50% for JB weld then drill a mounting point for the intake manifold bracket on the new engine mount bracket. i'm going to do a write up soon about my conversion experiences. thanks again for your help. |

Keep the bracket. It's there to stop the alloy manifold from cracking (which does happen) |
