hey guys, got a low k engine to replace my tired engine, this one had power steer, and my old one had air con, obviously i will be wanting to keep both. i have a few questions about the install. obvioulsy i dont want to have to regass the air con, so i have simply unbolted it off the block and left it hanging in the engine bay. when i drop the new motor in, in what order will the pumps go in? power steer or air con? if i put the power steer in first, which goes on the bottom, i think i may have trouble reaching the bolts for the air con, vice versa for the power steer though with the power steering box, will i HAVE to install this when the engine is going in? or is there a way to install it now. i dont mind waiting, its more curiosity if it can be done while the engine is still in, looks tight! thanks guys alex |

Can't help with the order of assembly as G13 and M13 are different and I don't know which you have. Easiest way to do powersteer box would be while engine is out but it is still pretty easy when motor is in situ. You don't want to fit the box until you are ready to fit the pump as steering without power assistance will be VERY difficult. |
