You'l have to cut the engine mounts off and weld new ones on. For the gearbox you have to make up a new mount and possibly enlarge the tunnel a little (it seems some people need to do this and others don't, probably depends on your mounting setup). You'l need a 1.3l bonnet, air box and jack shaft too. Obviously it's advisable to fit the 1.3l radiator, that takes a bit of work too.

IMO a carby 1.3l is not a worthwhile conversion. I've never driven a 1.3l sierra that was quicker or kept speed up hills as well as my (stock) 1l, a 1l does have a significant weight advantage though (I haven't driven a 1.3l engine in a 1l but it would perform much better with the weight and gearing advantage). The 1l makes up the 15hp disadvantage with lower gearing and by being very rev happy. The advantages to the 1.3l swap are a 15% lower first gear, quieter/lower revving engine and the gearing is suitable for larger tyres. On the minus side, it's a ton of work for something that is basically no faster, you'l have a carby that is worse on angles and far less reliable and you'l need to get it engineered.

I reckon step up to a G13bb or G16b (which need all the same work as a carby 1.3l, plus the EFI gear) or just keep the 1l.

My experience of a one litre was different to yours, I must say.

I've been in a number of nice ones too. There's plenty of posts on here that reflect my experiences. Having said that, a WT Maruti is one of the slowest vehicles I've been in.

Well the 1 litre i bought for 3200 and it runs perfect and no leaks of anykind the only thing it dose have is a rust hole on the left wheel arch but im buying a full front clip for it its a wide track front clip from a 1990 model will it fit onto a narrow track?

A widetrack maruti is my 1 litre experience, oh and a hardtop I nearly bought. Still reckon the 1.3 is a better package although 1 litres have extra awesome.
