I'm looking to buy a set of alloy beadlock rims, but due to jimny steering knuckles and and tight guards I can't have much offset.

So I know the 15x7s with -0 offset rub, but only just;

But if I bought 16x8s with -0 offset will the extra diameter clear the steering knuckle?

I would prefer 16x7s but can't find any, even better for tyre choice is 15x7s but I can't find those either.

Wilso.

Are you totally fixed on alloy? I'm pretty sure you can get 16x7 steel beadlock rims?

I already have steel beadlocked rims... Why not loose some weight I guess...

have you checked the weight differences? I looked into 15x7 alloys vs. 15x7 steel rims and the difference was bugger all...

Sure, the rings for the locks would make a difference, but the alloy ones would still need to be thicker than the steel ones for strength.

I is fairly sure, that Allied would be able to do something, as they use alloy blanks, so they can machine to whatever stud pattern, CB, and offset you want. (within reason)
But as a custom set, there would be a premium to pay.
You would still need to buy through a dealer, but you should be able to ask Allied, and get some feedback as to feasability.

Yeah 114.3, -13 and Its not a custom job. Plus with the extra weight I welded only an already heavy steel wheel I can't see the alloy being anywhere near as heavy...

Thanks fellas I think ive got a hook up with the tyres and rims so hopefully ill have it done soonish.

If you haven't already, make sure to confirm that they are an actual beadlock.

Has anyone found 16x6 or 16x7 flash rims for a jimny?

I'm with you Shep, chasing 16x7 or 16x6 with like a -15 to -20 offset to run 750 R16's or 215/85R16's on as they have the lift im chasing but not the width, would gladly stick with a 15" rim but there is just nothing in skinny tyres all 9.5, 10.5 or wider, may look cool but ruins fuel effciency with the extra weight and road resistance

Are any of the 16" GV rims the right offset?

Pretty sure there is a gv wheel that fits, but not all of them do. There's a thread somewhere. Be basically the same as fitting gv wheels to a Sierra.

Steaky had 98/05 gv rims on his jimny
