Post subject:  lsd and cutting brakes

does anyone on here know if cutting brakes will work on a nissan lsd because they are a ramp index limo and work so well i have a felling that the cutting brakes will lock up both wheels

what is everyones thoughts

It is only LSD not a locker so if the brakes are good enough and you don't mind premature wear of the clutch pack, go for it.

I don't really see the point of cutting brakes in a full size car like a Patrol though.

Just get the LSD shimmed up super tight works almost like a locker

Ive got cutting brakes and a spool and whilst not as well as an open diff, front digs still work to some degree.

Rear disconnect and both rears locked works better in my experience with a 1200-1500kg 108ish" WB
