| Post subject: | aftermarket tacho wiring |
hi guys i did serch but couldnt find anything i bought a aftermarket tacho off ebay and it came with no instructions on wiring it up so just wondering any pointers on how to wire it up its got.. two thick wires one red and black... then its got three smaller wires being red,black and green any help whould be helpful |

and would the 2 smaller red and black wires be for the light in the gauge |

black is ground green is dizzy i think I think so to but not entirely sure. The other two wires I suspect are for the light, but the best thing I could suggest is email the guys you bought it off and ask them. |

that red. black, green sounds right. but i think the green connects 2 the coil, maybe the + side of the coil? & make shure the switch on the back is set to 4 cylinders |

Signal pulse is from the negative side of the coil, so connect the green to the - |
