Belts started slipping and making horrible noises. Have traced it back to the AC compressor going all spastic.

I can't take compressor out can I because the gas will come out correct?

Am I in need of a new compressor or can it be fixed?

Your gonna need to get someone to remove the gas. Huge fines if you get caught deliberately venting Refrigeration gas into the atmosphere

could be the computer that controls it or the clutch dying. Id be getting a pro to look at it
