I have a 1985 Holden drover with the g13a motor, I was running rough when I purchased it and the other night it just died.
We checked it for spark but it has nothing? There is power at the coil but it doesn't pulse when the engine is cranked?
I was told it could be the distrubter, is there any way to test it?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for that, I tested the pulse generator as the manual says.
But the voltage doesn't change when I insert the screw driver as the manual said it should so I take it that means the pulse generator is stuffed.
Is this part available separately or am I better off getting a whole new distrubter?

That part should be available separately but I'd probably just place up a wanted add or have a look in the for sale section for a complete working dizzy. They are generally very robust and go for descent prices.
