My sierra is idling high about 1800rpm. I have been advised by a few people that it is the auto choke stuck on potentially caused by the wax pellet. What do I do about this?

Take the air hat off the top of the carby and start her up (cold), See if the choke flap drops away once it warms up a bit.

It doesnt and the two water hoses at the back of the carby dont get warm, so theres a blockage somewhere

The little widget that the two water lines go to, i pulled mine apart when i did my carby rebuild. it was completely blocked up with something thats for sure.

I cleaned it all out, and i definitely have hot water flowing through those pipes, though it didnt seem to help with the high idle..

I just turned the idle down to ~1000rpm and it idles at this weather its hot or cold.

You should be able to pull those hoses off the carby by hand and clean things out with a bit of wire.
Worked for me once.

bye
