Hey guys - what's some possible causes of the hubs getting really hot? Like, the drivers side front hub after a highway run is too hot to touch! My first thought was wheel bearings, but i've just had swivel hub seals done and the bearings were fine - i've jacked up the front and there's no play there either. Any ideas? I'm guessing if its getting that hot its bound to be SOMETHING going on. Hubs are unlocked too, but also got pretty hot from 4wding (locked in). |

I'd be thinking that the bearings are too tight. |

As above bearing problem or brakes grabbing which could be caliper slides sticking or king pins needing attention. |

Who did the swivel hubs? I'd be pulling the free wheeling hubs off to have a look in there |
