Hey all, I've recently given my stock G13BA and carby a ground up rebuild and I still feel like I want a little bit more power out of it. I really like the idea of the quad Carby setups I've seen on here and I've done a few searches and I reckon I'm gonna give it a shot, I'm gathering that the gsxr/katana 600 carbies are the go, but I've also heard of the 750s being done.
Can anyone give me any more info on running the carbies off a 1988 GSXR 750? I've found some locally for $150 and am considering buying them.

If you can build a manifold then any rack of CV type 26-36mm ish carb will work quite well. What breed of carbs are the GSXR750's?

Is a 88 750 the oil cooled engine?
Worked on one of them, i remeber it having flat slide carbies that rattled alot..

The carbies are Mikuni BST36SS, not too sure sorry, don't know much about bikes!

Those will work but be prepared to have a play with the jetting/needles etc. The BST36ss is still a CV carb with flat slides. They should be quite easy to get and find jets/parts for

Awesome, thanks for that! I think I might just get it all installed and then give it to the bloke that rebuilt the stock Carby, I don't think I'm game enough to fuck around with all that haha how much worse do you think the fuel consumption would be? I can't seem to find any figures anywhere

Where abouts are you? Realistically, those carbs if tuned correctly should give on par or better fuel economy then the stocker if driven sedately.

That sounds good to me haha yeah I'm a reasonably sedate driver most of the time, I'm south of Adelaide
