Post subject:  Help Wanted: Sierra Alternator Upgrade

Hi all,

I own a 1989 Suzuki Sierra with all the mods.. I'm becoming more and more familiar with it the more I play around and tinker. There is one modification I am not confident to carry out on my own, and was wondering if someone around Brisbane would be interested in giving us a hand.

I want to change out the old Suzuki 40 amp alternator for a nice reconditioned Ford EF/EL Falcon alternator with 110 cranking amps. (Mitsubishi brand). Is there someone around Brisbane who has successfully carried this out, and wants to give us a hand? There's obviously a reward in it for anyone willing to tutor me through the process of buying the parts I need and fitting them correctly; a carton, $$$, or a bit of both?

Message me if you think you can help :)

Thanks,

DBuzz

I have done the up grade on a 1992 Vitara. It is fairly easy, and well worth the effort. The thread on the forum is very well explained.
