Hey guys got a auto locker in my rear of a vitara been in there for abit now and when its under load it cranks really loud like it not locking in anyone no what to do to fix it or is it stuffed?

Spring and pin kit replacement is most likely. You won't know till you pull it out.

Does it crack once when under power? Or multiple times?
Has it always done it, or just recently?

Hopefully the pins and/or springs are busted (best case scenario)
But may possibly be the initial set up, if the backlash was too little, and its damaged the side gears etc.
Really hard to tell until you open it.

Are you sure its not locking? Or did you assume its not locking because of the noise?

It's possible your ring and/or pinion is destroyed, which could make funny sounds when under load, and possibly nothing whilst cruising
Poor locker and diff setup can cause your gears to be killed.

I have just put new springs and pins in this morning the springs had metal in them off the locker
And I had to change the carrier because 1 of tye a arm bolts were stripped in the housing amd I changed pinion over and wemt to do it up and the pinion amd pkay in it (can move it back amd forward bit ) how I fix that?
