As the title suggests, does anyone know of a 2-piece yoke with right dimensions to suit a sierra style U-joint? The only 2 piece yokes I know of are on the heeps. Don't suppose anyone knows how far off they are to fitting? Dan |

I've got to crawl under the fireball one evening this week and get some measurements for something, so can compare then if you want. But from memory its going to be no where near a match. First though, what and why? |

Cheers Dan. Highway-Star wrote: First though, what and why? I'm thinking of trying to get rid of the underbody oil pump that is the gearbox/jack shaft slip yoke! A brass output bushing and u-joints, that poor oil seal never has a chance. I want to try and eliminate that slip yoke at the output for a fixed one and modify a tail-shaft with a slip to replace the jackshaft. For the idea to work Ill need a 2-piece yoke for the gearbox output shaft |

That's the idea! No room for a flange on the output of the box hence Ill need a 2 piece yoke for that side. |

Mmmmmm? Jackshaft doesn't have a slip joint. Will have to use a shortened tailshaft instead. Ummm deactivated cause finishing thesis. Needed to remove sources of procrastination. Will hassle you when I'm done |
