There was a thread a month ago where someone had stripped the 1.3 carby of all the non essential bits, I did it five years ago and its the best thing I ever did to it. Also put a cheap filter between the pump and inlet. viewtopic.php?f=17&t=46398&hilit=+carby+sierra |

There isnt a whole lot in a full carby kit, few gaskets, needle and seat, and a few rubber bits and pieces. A carby kit is only like 50bucks, if you have it appart I would just buy and install the kit and put it all back together. |

Thank you for your input I'm just going to kit it and open the jets a lil more and pull of all the crap that's not needed |

Let go of the lever arm if it stays 'up' its working if it pops down it isn't (or you failed to seal it properly creating the vacuum. buy jets dont waste time with drilling it out, jets wil cost you $5 and you can swap them back to stock if you find its flooding. |
