Post subject:  Rear drum brakes.... need help asap

was just bleeding the brakes wen i noticed fluid dripping from the bottom of one of my rear drum brakes. took the wheel off and all other bolts and screws off but the brake still wont come off. please help

spray some wd40 around the centre hole in the brake drum then hit it with the biggest hammer you can find

another way is to spray it with wd40 and hit it with a rubber hammer around the edges until it gains a bit of play in it. once you have this play smack the centre in a rotational pattern and eventually it will fall off. nothing will be damaged by a rubber hammer

yeah supercheap should have them, i got mine from repco

i've never seen them at supercheap
try repco but take your old ones in so they can match them for you

take a pair of your with you cause there are a few types

I always leave the wheel bolted to the drum to pull em off

I use the wheel bolted on with two or three nuts threaded on a little bit. Sort of like a slide hammer
