Hi all, I'm wanting to get the 1.8 in my 2008 jimny. Don't want to try do it myself, just want it done properly. Not sure where to start or who can help me. Work away so it sits around for 4 weeks at a time so plenty of time to get it done. Any help much appreciated |

take it to suzistore in perth with a wad of cash & drive away. they've done it before & know all the tricks & could easily source you a motor too http://www.suzistore.com.au/ tell them know you know "alien" from auszookers & they'll hook you up. |

I do know them very well which is why everyone takes the piss =) Just take the jimny in and have a chat. The conversion won't be cheap but they do a good job and use genuine bits (if you ask them to). For a drive-in, drive-out a few days later solution i don't think there's a better option. |

Consider a clutch upgrade. If it's manual. Either to a HD clutch, or a Liana, if you can source a plate. |

X2 on the clutch upgrade. Mine has been slightly slipping when I accelerate hard. I'll be going for Liana flywheel and pressure plate when the time comes. |
