Well I went to engage my locker last time I was home and at no spurise it didn't work. I pull it out of the diff the other day, put some rubber grease on the cap the feeds the air into the locker and then bench test it. It worked fine. Re-installed the locker, put the axles back in and bam it leaked again and won't engage. Pulled it put again, tested on the bench -It worked. Back in the diff it didn't work again.

It's got me fuked why it will work on the bench but when it's installed it doesn't. Am I missing something here?

You bench testing it with the airline that you're running to the rear?

Check the carrier bearing preload locking tab isn't pushing the sealed bit out of airlocker cause that will make it act funny like mine was for a while.

That or your housing is bent, or your square seal in the AirLocker bit is rolled over.

or your Airline is leaking elsewhere.

Well I fixed the bearing cap and it worked. Installed and checked again, it was fine. Finished doing the knuckles etc... And bam didn't work. It would engage after crawling around and would be fine after that but there's still something not right. It's working so it will do for now until joeblow releases his me lockers.

Another option is that the bearing preload is lacking and the carrier moves around when underload. Mine was engaging when in reverse and leaking like a sive going forwards.

And yes, bring on JoeBlows new locker. 500% less moving parts. Should be ultra reliable
