Hi - Will any generic 7" GPS fit into a 1998 GV type 1 or is it a weird size/fitting thing? |

Is it "double DIN" sized? like this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/High-Def-7-In-Dash-2-Din-Car-Stereo-DVD-Player-GPS-Navigation-3D-Bluetooth-CAM-/120946682866 then, yes, but you may need to trim the plastic surround depending on the fit of the screen clip on bezel. |

The slot in your GV will take 2 DIN sized radio's, GPS etc. If the unit you are looking at says Double DIN or 2 DIN then it will physically fit and screw into the frame behind the fascia. |
