So I'm looking into putting an additional fuel tank in my sierra and having a look at the jimny tank and was wondering if anyone has done this? Just from a quick look at them its the right shape to fit in front of the rear axle on my sierra same as the jimny. Attachment: Jimny Fuel Tank.JPG Would be a great way to add an extra 40L fuel, also have a sierra fuel filler to go in as well Cheers Mitch |

Has anyone tried this? Getting a quote, pretty sure i can get this to fit with some new brackets. Would anyone be able to supply me with some dimensions of a jimny tank? Cheers Mitch |

So the Jimny tank is just too wide to fit into a sierra chassis, going to get it cut and shorted at work, should give me at least another 35L. |

If you manage to get a trayback sierra tank (not maruti) then you can fit that in the spot. That's where traybacks have their tank. A SWB/longbody Sierra tank with the filler moved would also fit. |

Ho, didn't think i would have enough room to fit on of those in, should have asked. I'll get the Jimny tank chopped as it cost me bugger all to get done, I have another stock filler to weld into my sierra as this will be the secondary tank. |
