Can someone please help i am having to drink a great deal of coffee to try and figure out some wiring issues. is there any where i can find out why the pin outs for the comp do not match the connector pinouts. i have an 88 sierra and a 89 TBI G16B from swift searched the net but keep coming up with the same dead ends. main problems are igniter on coil and dizzy (Vitara) |

THANKS AGAIN the swift 1600 tbi motor is not a common conversion because of its east west difficulties and about 99.975% of people don't know there are 2 types of plug systems for them. usually people would chuck a carby on em to by-pass the the complications of the efi. at the same time nobody replied with bad comments or things to steer you in the wrong direction so your attitude leaves me a bit confused. i would suggest maybe getting on to a dedicated swift site as they may offer more assistance in your conversion. and if you still find this thread to be not of your liking i would suggest fucking right off! |

1.3 carby here so wouldnt of been much help either, only clogged your thread with useless info and/or idle chit chat.. oh wait.. thats what this is huh.. my bad. but good to hear you got it sorted.. You know.. seeing as you had the problem.. doing a write up on how you solved it with pictures etc, would save the next person who runs into the same issue.. Only if your not feeling " too busy to release yourself from your ignorant little life to assist fellow enthusiasts." |

I suggest you start doing some home improvements, start with the wiring , remove a power point and start licking all the wires to see if there live..... Do you still want my advice, Nobbhead.. |

you posed an open question on a forum to be answered if people wished. People in this case obviously had nothing to bring to the table so they stayed away. In a way you should be thankfull for if you are to stick around this forum you will find that threads go off topic very quickly. There are threads that were never answered. You would have probably found that if you waited long enough Joe would have given you all the information you needed like he did further down from his first post. People are busy, posts can be over looked. Not a big deal, politely bump the post in order to get some attention to it again. Maybe reiterate the question in different terms. There was no need for an attack on other forum members that simply did not know anything about your conversion. |

no, dont bump your thread if you arent getting an answer, jsut fuck off back to your own small minded little world you useless wanker plenty of happy people here, even zook_fan and mike have learnt to search and get an idea on how to do something before buying the first useless pile of mismatched shit a wrecker can throw at them then getting the shits when their ADD medicine wears out and they cant jsut plug it all in like some guy down the dog park said it would. I cbf banning you right now cause I am tired, maybe I might forget by morning or maybe you might never get to read this |

look i realize that people are busy as am i. I just find it amazing that 97 people looked at the thread and only one commented, yet as soon as i abuse people i get responses by the "dozen" rubbishing me for doing something that others are too lazy to do. i.e changing to carb. as soon as i get another M.A.P. sensor and tidy the wiring i will post some pics if anyone is interested Anonymity is a wonderful thing |

you post 3 sentences saying you cant get SWIFT TBI to work with some other computer that doesnt match and a vitara dizzy and coil, no other details and then expect everyone else to just know based on that? then chuck the sads wen nobody will give you an answer, then even try and justify yourself I'm not going to ban you now, I want to see pics of your rig, sounds like it will be awsome!!!!! |

not to harp on but i removed the engine and harness and computer myself from a running car. the vitara dizzy wire colours didnt match the wiring diagrams i could find, so i rang the wrecker that i got it from and was told that the wires should be blk and brown where the dizzy they sold me had red and white it just so happens that if anyone else has this issue the plug is oriented correctly for a straight in fit to the swift harness. i also found about 10 wiring diagrams on the net none of which matched my harness/comp. my initial question may have been misunderstood. i was asking if anyone else had encountered this problem and what they did to circumvent it. but i now have all the answers and the thing runs great heaps better than a 1300 carby pics will come. the sads is what all the other people got when they were provoked, ban me if you wish that is your choice |
