Can anyone tell me if it's possible to put a G16b out of a Baleno into a 91 MH Barina. If so what problems will i have. I intend if possible to buy a complete wreck to use for parts. Thanks guys please reply soon. George

Could you shoe horn engine and gearbox in? Not sure how you'd go mating G16 to original box so that might be the only way.

Head to redlinegti.com there is a wealth of information there on conversions and what Is required.
It is a simple bolt in conversion if you use the G16B out of a swift sedan. You do have to raise the bonnet slightly though as the 1.6L head is slightly taller. You have to use the 1600 box to and front hubs, cv's etc.
Using the 1600 box you will also need the gear shifter and all linkages as its a cable type.
A entire car or a front cut is the easiest way to obtain all the parts you need.
