Hey guys.
I bought a 91 Sierra. Had to get a new carb put on as the old one is gunked up the hell and foul, ran rich and the auto choke didnt work. Took it to a carby specialist. He put the new carby on and set the thing up. In the shop he started it and said the auto choke should come off after about 8km? Which to me seems like a long time. I started it and moved it out the shop and it idled nice. Driving home the idle issue started again, idle about 1200 to 1500rpm. Driving me INSANE!!!!! I know the to coolant lines to the back of the carb for the choke are no clogged as they are new. And if he set the idle why would it change again? Im stumped. Anyone got an info? Yes i have googled it but couldnt find anything, as what i found is all correct.
