Needing replacement seat belts for my LWB ute but of course there's no listing under any of the main suppliers. Also the standard length is too short to use the GTi Seat I have installed.

I have retractable seat belts but there's no provision to 1) mount them 2) to fit the retractor into into. The Ute are different to full bodied LWB

So what other model car would use non retracting seatbelts that will fit the zook?
I'm thinking Monaro etc, but wondering whether the bolt thread would be the same, imperial as apposed to metric.

Or just get universal ebay schpeshal one's?

Also are "race" harnesses legal to use in a road going car? or is it unless it is engineered? I can't seem to make heads or tales of the ADR pdf explination

Thanks.

I just went through the same thing in my ute. Went down to the wreckers and grabbed a seat of retractable belts from a mid 80s hilux. Bolt straight in (same thread the lot) and only cost $50. I have a pair of factory non-retractable belts here if your interested in them pm me

it's actually illegal for wreckers to sell seatbelts, they can get into alot of shit for it but will sell them as tie down straps.

dave if you want new belts, most auto shops will be able to order them in. they all pretty much come from here: http://www.selectgear.com.au/products/d ... egoryID=11
