Post subject:  chasing a radiator LJ with sierra steering box??

Im building my LJ50 and I have a sierra steering box mounted to the chassis..
now when I orignally bought it, the car had a datsun 1200 engine with some sort of raditor with the corner cut out (which was f@#$'d and now long gone to the scrap)

Idea 1 get a radiator of about 250mm height by 500mm length and maybe 3core and mount it above the steering box.. does anyone know of any roughly this size??

or

Idea 2 get and larger radiator and get the corner taken out of it to suit.. what would this cost??

Idea 3 get a different steering box and hope that works

also I'm having problems with trying to find just a BRAND NEW standard LJ radiator
Can anybody help me??? Any information would be muchly appreciated

When I got a new radiator for mine they ordered a 1l Sierra one and swapped the straps over, they were the only difference.

FWIW I measured it up a while ago and the steering box clears the radiator if it's mounted low enough. :)

Ek Civic radiator mounted over to the passengers side could be another option, they're dirt cheap on eBay.
