Hey i'm looking at buying a Jimny, just had a few questions. The car im looking at is a: 2011 Jimny, with 69,xxx klms, stock as a rock. The asking price is $14,000, is this around the right value of the Jimnys in QLD? Next couple questions is, from my reading they are the M13VVT engine? The missus has given me permission for making the car look more "manly" , haha so mods will be on the cards for it, Any topics i should be reading? |

Not sure on the going price in QLD but they are about 20 grand new. Mods depend on what driving you intend to do, Mild 2" and some 215/75R15 All Terrains or Muddies will get you most places and keep decent economy. Best way to get an idea would be to read some of the build threads on here. Good Luck with it ! |

My opinion, it's a bit much considering you gotta spend another $4000 on mods. This is one of the best jimnys on the market at the moment. And if it's was for sale when I was looking for one I'd really consider getting it. In my opinion the Km's and year doesn't matter as from 2005-2012 they are the same car. Parts are easy to get and cheap to fix. Edit viewtopic.php?f=7&t=48045 |

I guess when you look at an older one + mods is cheaper http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/1057414478 |
