Hi guys hoping someone can help me out here so I have 1990 sj70 g13. So I went 4wding in the weekend and got stuck in a bog and got a bit bumped up and was fine most the way home but whe I got back to the city it seem to be having a whining noise coming from the front a believe as only does it after 30kpm and up I have change gearbox oil it was fine, transfer was milky but have drained and refilled that to both have been filled with vmx 80 and some g70. It seem to be worse under load but is still there but not as bad and responds to getting on and off accelerator. I did also notice my clutch was a little stiff after coming out of the bog.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Bit hard to understand. Is the whining engine related (changes with revs)? Or road speed related (changes with speed)?

Only happens after I get over 30 odd k but i can hear the difference between on and off trotle. It's still there but it sounds worse under load

Are the front hubs unlocked?

Yup I have while stationary I have locked and unlocked them a couple of times

Seems to be when in 3,4,5 gear

transfer case. mine does it really bad

Yea I just found a forum then sayin to put transfer in netural and run thru gear looks like I fucked my transfer case in the weekend
