Hi , I am in the process of fitting a Chinese import F8a engine to my LJ81 ute. I am going to have to swap some parts over from my original Suzuki F8a engine to the Chinese engine as the import engine is set up for a Carry . I have to swap over the intake manifold , flywheel , exhaust manifold and the distributor/fuel pump housing and dizzy drive gear .
the question I have is . can anyone tell me if the f10a or any other of the F series engines has a dizzy/fuel pump housing or a dizzy with a longer shaft? it is just that my original Suzuki f8a has approximately 83mm shaft that inserts into the dizzy/fuel pump housing and the Chinese dizzy's shaft is approximately 20mm longer. this wouldn't pose a problem but I want to use the new dizzy in the old dizzy/fuel pump housing ,as the new dizzy has cdi ,that is unless I can swap over the cdi to my old dizzy?
