hey guys in new here and as of tomorrow in going 2 be a sierra owner, its a 1989 wide track swb. anyways i was wondering if anyone on here has tried fitting a nissan ca18de to their zook? its a bit of a long shot but since i have a few lying round i was wondering how possible/impossible it could be? cheers, michael |

ok i just did a search (as i prob should have done first) and turns out a couple of you guys have done the conversion, next question, what did you do for gear boxes? as using the nissan box would mean no low range cheers michael |

using the nissan gear box may mean tunnel reconstruction but it will not mean no low range. You could still use your transfer case although you may need to relocate it further back, this is only guessing as i dont know the lengths. |

haha morpheus im going ca18de cos i have a few spare and the ca18dets i have here are rooted and the only good one is sitting in my bluebird |

i had an exa turbo 4 a while. was great fun, but non turbs ca18de will plenty of power in a sierra.. looking forward to seeing it complete and a few youtube videos.. |

i have a 380hp ca18det sitting in my garage thats going in ya exa i should put that in ya sierra 2 lol dont think nothing will hold up 2 it tho |
