I'm curious aswell! I would love a set of lockers, rarely need them for what i do, only time they would have come in handy was a steep incline where back left wheel lifted, got my bro to jump out and just give me a push ahah, but if i did have the $$ would be a worthy addition. But yeah ARB need some competition in the locker department to get their prices down!

Wolf wrote: So i gather this is what u can use at the front? not yet. this is beta test product still under development that should be in between the autolocker and arb options in terms of price, but will actuate under air pressure same as a arb locker. if your the kind of person who puts things off because something cheaper and better is on its way then this might be the product for you. just not yet is all.

need to save more money and buy the right bits, or find a way to drivewhat you want without a locker, or use a winch.

ARB lockers have come down in price. I just had one supplied and fitted for $895....maybe that cus I told them there product was rubbish and they wanted to prove me wrong . But they do have a deal on ATM locker and compressor $1200. Yes it is a lot of money, but been able is choose when you it need is worth the extra $1000 over the auto locker (when it works )

i'm hoping to put a lockrite in the front diff of mine (can also use spartan but people seem to recommend the lockrite over the spartan). search US ebay for far better prices than local ebay, or even jimnybits.co.uk

when i googled lockrite lockers a while back a found a couple of forums where people were reporting they'd fitted them to the front, could be mistaken though.

they will still only "limit the slip" will be good right up until that point you need a "locker" and i'd say they'd be well up into ARB monies too.

RS Manufacturing makes a kit to put a lockrite into the front of a Jimny. Pretty sure it uses the centre from a 7" suzuki diff with a replacement end cap. By the time you get all that you could buy a Chinasoong.

No point locking the front of a jimmy without axle and cvs upgrades. You might as well use rice bubbles if you don't, either way they'll go 'snap crackle and pop'
