My rig is now screaming for some new wheel bearings in the front. any ideas where to get them on the north side of brissy for cheap or even on the internet??
any help would be good, apprentice wages dont really cover sierra expenses.
cheers, brad.

THEY ARE !!! i ended up putting standard bearings back in for a whilebecause aftermarket where so shit.
THEY WHERE STILL FUCKED SO I
acutally ended up getting jimny bearing hubs on mine now because they are the same as coily sierra
the WT sierra bearings i had installed flogged my bearing hubs out out
SO the moral of the story is buy jimny bearings and they will fit and work on your coily.

also coilies are the same as vitaras as far as removing the bearing hub EXCEpt vits don't have the driveshaft circlip
Take manual locking hub cap off
Take manual locking hub off
take driveshaft circlip off
(not sure if you need the circlip off first i forgotted)
take four screws in the bearing ring retainer thingy (don't fuck these screws)
take the retainer thingy off
bash locking ring untill it come off (anti clockwise, don't bash the threaded holes)
take locking ring off
bash and wiggle the poo out of the bearing hub untill it comes off the stub axle
take out bearing seal and BIG circlip on the back of the bearing hub
press bash use vice, or ask nicely for the bearing to come out
THEN stick it all back together and read up about about bearing preloading.
POW

i bought some new front wheel bearings today off onlineautoparts and they are 2 seperate bearings for each wheel. i have a 1997 sierra coily and i was wondering if anyone has changed them before? i was told today of someone that coily bearings are one big bearing instead of 2 seperates? any truth?. guess i will find out tomorrow. any help on installing them would be greatly appreciated.
