So after getting a bit of water inside the GV the other week ive decided to relocate the ECU.

Where have others put theirs. I was thinking up as high as possible behind the glove box. Harnes and plugs should reach with a little tweaking.

any other options / reasons why i should put it else where?

I've been thinking about this - and I think there may be enough space behind the upper glove box (or passenger side airbag if you have an airbag equipped vehicle) - I haven't checked it yet though.
