Hi All. I have a 2000 Suzuki GV 2.5lt v6. I have already installed 2" coil spring spacers and 29" tyres. I was looking at a 2in body lift kit. Besides the kit which has the spacers, would I need to change anything else, eg longer brake lines, diff drop brackets, steering spacer eg? Thks in advance. Chris |

For a body lift you will need to extend anything that joins the body and the chassis. the wireing has enough give but as you said steering and brake lines depending how high. you will also need to move your bumpers up to match the height. I would be putting your money into a proper spring and shock lift to get the extra travel as spacers are just taking away travel and only giving lift. You only need a BL if you want to fit 32" or bigger tyres. Diff drops will only be needed if your lift in suspension is over 2in like if you added 2in springs with your spacers. Search and read through some of the othet GV owners on here and you will see pretty much every possible combination has already been done. |
