Post subject:  jimny needs more lift, options?

Hey guys, i know theres alot of posts on this but ill ask it anyways as i need somthing right for my uses,

So i got my 2" lift from ye old wreckers last year, makes the car look awesome, but everytime i go over a leaf i get a free spine fusion. There king springs with tough dogs, im starting to go off road multiple times a week, mostley in dusty, rutty and rocky conditions. Occational towing, no bars yet, i was looking at the 3" kit from jimny bits, but its around 2k and i assume the freight will be alot, what other options do i have? Im thinking if its reasonable to get a bigger lift for a resonable price, i will save, (75mm legal in qld?) Or if its cheaper to get some new rear shocks, cheers guys

I dont know what shocks and springs are best for comfort in a jim,
but I know I would keep the lift capped a 2 inch and fit up some hydralic bumpstops along with the prefered springs and shocks

My 4" lift has a softer ride then standard. I would remove the shocks and see how it rides then as TD shocks don't have a very good reputation

TD shocks are shit on a jim. Everyone I know doesn't rate them. Have a search for the commo shock numbers on the jimny. Supercheap stock them and they are cheap as chips. A good cheap way to see if you can get a softer ride.
