Going to get into some crack repairs on my grille. Anyone know what type of plastic are they made off, I need to by some filling rods

I have used ABS with some success but just get a piece of old bumper Etc and cut it into pieces - works for me :wink:

Will they be the same plastic type, mine was obviously made a while ago, I don't know if there is many LJ'S at my local

Usually the type of plastic is marked on the inside of the item. However with an LJ being so old I don't know if it would have it.

In the past I have used a sharp knife to slice some thin strip from the back of the grill. Use these strips or shavings what ever you want to call them as your filler. Same plastic same coulor. Or even better if you have an old bugged grill to donated some plastic

I can find an markings on it and I have quite a few repairs so I will need more than a few slivers
