I've managed to smash up my door pretty badly and have been looking at buying a second hand one. I have a 1997 JLX vitara with the rare 4cyl 2.0L. I was wondering if anyone knows if a door off a 1.6L will fit it as I've heard they are a different shape. Thanks. |

Door pressing is the same. They do have different trims both inside and out. Swb doors don't fit a LWB and vice versa. Steve. |

Jump on gumtree, depending on where you are location wise have a look at some of the people wrecking vitaras. I have a silver coloured SV420 and did see a silver softtop of the sv420 being wrecked. Depends on what color car you have, you might get lucky! Sorry cant help on fitting similar vitara doors to yours. Cheers |

Thanks for that both of you! I've managed to find one that should fit but seeing as I live in Tassie it's costing a bit to get here, that's the life of a Tasmanian! |
