Post subject:  How hard is it to install body lift?

I've had myself a nice 97 SWB SV420 vitara for a little while now and planning to put a 2" body lift in it. I've never done anything like this before as its my first 4x4! Just windering how difficult it is for a very inexperienced lad to put a body lift in and what other things have to be adjusted to get it in? Cheers!

Ah that would make it easier, but I'm more just wondering if it's something I should try to do myself or not.

Well no-one can answer that except yourself. I know lots of people that have never done anything like this and have done it. Greg's instructions are very very good.

the SV's are a little more involved due to having to trim sheet metal to get the strut brace back on & make up bumper relocation brackets but you'd need to do the same with the SE anyway.

i can knock one out in under a day on my own, but it's not my first rodeo.
