Hi, does anyone know if I can use the 1.3 starter in a 1 Litre 1994 F10. The only listings for the F10 starter I can see are a lot more expensive. They look identical but maybe they aren't.
If not, can anyone suggest where I can get a new one for a reasonable price.

not sure about the 1.3l like you asked
but I got an old model corolla starter from an auto elecy that was exactly the same when i had the stockman

Thanks. I thought it was the starter after a jump lead start wouldnt turn her over. Hadn't started the ute for about 8 weeks (usually not a problem for the old thing), but this time no go.
Anyway after the non jump start I went back after about half an hour and it started first go. Not sure what that was about. Just got a ticking sound when it wouldnt start rather than turning over but not firing. If it was the battery then it should have worked with a jump I would have thought?
Could be the starter on the way out?
