I'd use the gasket to suit the bore size you have, in your case most likely 1.6 gasket.
1.3 uses a 74mm piston and a 75mm bore gasket, 1.6 uses a 75mm piston and 76mm bore gasket.
Oh, and FWIW, 1.6 and 1.3 heads (8v) are the same except for valve sizes, so the head doesn't really make any difference anyway.

I just rebuilt a 16V 1.6 with 1.3 8V head.
I bought a 16V gasket set and could only use from head gasket down. Had to buy rocker cover, inlet and exhaust gaskets to suit a 1.3 seperately.
If anyone wants what is basically a 16V VRS set minus head gasket, let me know.

Yep, valve stem seals, rocker cover, inlet, exhaust, 4 larger rubbers that I think seal the plugs(not sure.. never checked out a 16V head) and a few other bits..
I dunno...Full set cost $120 I didn't even use half of it..
How does $40 sound?
