Hello all,
Vehicle is a 1995 sj70 soft top Sierra
My wipers stopped working suddenly, have checked all fuses and seems okay.
When I try to turn the wipers on there is no action, no motor noise etc
I have done a search and found a bit of info.
I am trying to confirm if my wiper motor is shot or perhaps the switch on the stalk.
I have folded down the windscreen and have access to the motor, after unplugging the motor I have found that I have 12v at the plug on the blue and yellow wire (which I believe is the main power wire) with the wipers turned both on and off, and 10v on 2 wires and 3v on the last. This changes slightly when turning wipers from hi to low etc
I am a bit confused as to what this means and was hoping someone could run me through troubleshooting the problem?
