Whilst laying under the front of my car the other day trying to figure out how I could get some front recovery points made up, I noticed this.

Image

It appears to be the end of a cross bar between the two chasis rails, could something potentially be made that "pegs" into this to be used as a recovery point. My intention would be to do the same thing either side and use an equalizer strap whenever possible. My thinking is that as this is a little bit further back it might be a little bit stronger than something attached to the end of the chasis rails.

This might be a really stupid idea, I have no real knowledge when It comes to these sorts of things, just going of what I can see seems possible, so figured I would check here so someone who knows what their on about if this would be even remotely a good idea or a possibility.

Cheers in advance for any advice.

EDIT: Image was fucking massive so did my best to resize it.

Cheers mate, exactly what I was looking for, too bad the search function hates me and I can never find anything.

Had a quick look through that thread, got some good idea's of what I'm going to do, just got to get out some cardboard and see what I can template up.
