i know that an EFI G16 is one of the best engine conversions that can be done to a sierra but due to the lack of availability i have to consider other options what non suzuki engine conversions have people done? Cheers Mike

i have just bought a suzuki ute with a 5k (1500) toyota motor. But looks like it wasn't a real easy install. drvies great though.

you could go yota with a 4age, 4agze or nissan with a CA18DE, CA18DET, SR20DE, SR20DET all of them have been done before. but you really want to build the rotor suzy

I have got a ute with the 5k in it. i have only just bought it but all seems to be good. Drove back from Coffs sitting between 100-110 all the way fully loaded up in the tray. seems to be geared fairly low though but i dont know if that is beacuse of the motor or what just yet.

2.7 3rz-fe 130ish?kw 240nm - this would fly.... 20v 4age 120kw 180nm 8500 rev limit! 7afe apparently more torquey than 4age rodeo diesel ford courier diesel hyundai excel motor? cheap as chips, injected - dunno how to get around fwd issues holden astra 1.6 99-2002ish again fwd issues

i know of an Excellpowered suzuki but was very new to zooks and didn't pay much attention to it. From what i remember it was the 1.5ltr and was a relatively easy conversion. was using a sierra 5 speed and sierra clutch. but thats all i know. If i could get my hands on an excell motor id have a crack at mating one to a sierra 5speed and detail what is required.
