My daughter and b/friend were on stockton today in 86 efi 4 cyl vit. as they were coming off the beach it stuttered and stalled. they managed to get it to the carpark. fuel is pumping to the injectors. has spark. any ideas?

What happens when they turn the key? Did they drive it to the carpark or towed?

86 efi vit? do you mean 96?

i don't know anything about efi sorry.

could there be sand or water in the air cleaner, or water somewhere else if they drove through water? (sorry that's all i got)

sorry prob 96. yeh drove it after stalling. didn't drive thru water. guessing may be a sensor. 2 hours later still no go.

what are they going to do? can they camp there? or will this be a "get towed home at 3am" kind of thing?

nah. his parents live at Cessnock. Dropping them off at Tanilba Bay and worry about it sunday
