Guys im looking into buying a boat soon and im wondering what size boat a lwb sierra could tow.

I want a 4mtr tinnie and only need to tow it for 1or2 ks to the ramp .im sure the load carrying capacity is 450kgs.
Anyone out there pull a boat ?

Legally, yes 450kg is all you can tow.
There are some out there who tow 5metre+ boats (in excess of a tonne.) You may be able to achieve it for a few kms but it's illegal and not recommended for liability reasons.

speeding up is painful but not a problem, its the slowing down. if the trailer has brakes, and/or its only 1-2km as you say and you're aware of the extra weight and drive accordingly, its relatively safe. as mnemonix mentioned though, its illegal and if you were to have an accident you wouldnt be covered. imagine hitting something expensive like a new landcruiser and not being insured
