No, it has nothing to do with death wobbles or camber correction but the springs themselves. It has a 2" tough dog sus kit and it's apparent that the springs are not captive because either the shocks are too long or the springs have sagged and because of that it makes a really loud cracking sound when it re-seats, and it happens on all corners. So anytime that I even go up a gutter or drive way it happens. So what are the best way's to resolve this? |

Fitting coil spacers would be a cheap fix. |

It's common on coily's too, Greenzook's bangs and crack all the time. i cant see why it would do this, mine only does it when it re-seats. are they TD shocks too suit? maybe spring retainers will be the solution your looking for. |

Rotate the spring away from the lip on the coil mount on the diff by about 20-30mm and it should stop, least on road anyway |

On road, it's sweet as, it's just if I need to up a gutter, or go offroad it cracks and groans more than an old man getting out of bed. |

Can you see wear marks on the coil seats? Another thing could be is a loose nut on a rear trailing/radius arm. |

My TD 60mm springs are loud when going up and down curbs. Nearly jumped out of my seat first time it happened! Going to put a light coating of grease on the spring seats on the diff and see how that goes. The top of the springs sit on rubber and the bottom sits on the diff so there will be a little metal on metal rubbing between the coil and diff seat as things are moving. Ray |
