You have to pull the whole silver facia off. I've done it maybe, six times now? Don't force anything and it should be pretty easy. I pull from the bottom and work it slowly.

Thanks for the reply.
So is that guide wrong? I pull the bottom of the silver facia and it starts to bend - Basically just above the HVAC knobs it feels like its screwed on. Should I just keep pulling and it come out? Im using some strength.

Honestly, it's pretty easy if you take some time. If it feels like you are exerting too much force, you probably are. Also, be careful not to scratch anything with the edges of the aluminium frame around the head unit. It's bloody sharp and I cut my fingers and the dash (well, left a mark).

Got it out and replaced my deck. Silver part came out and just pulled to the side so I can remove my deck.
