hey guys. i just finished putting my 89SWB sierra together after a complete paint job/ rebuild. I'll be making a custom rear bar eventually, but i was wondering if I just made a couple of brackets to mount the rear lights where the stock bar mounts are; would this be classified as road worthy/ could I get away with it in a road worthy. it wouldn't look dodgy at all, probably pretty damn spanky actual lol in short, is it a requirement to have a rear bar for a roadworthy in QLD?? cheers guys, Jimmy |

Trayback utes don't have rear bar so my answer to your question would be NO. |

Why not just bolt a standard bar on till you're ready to make one? |
